Inulin is a type of prebiotic and a natural dietary fibre that comes from the roots of the Chicory plant. It is a carbohydrate composed of fructose that are joined together.
Inulin also consists of several benefits including relieves indigestion, reduces constipation and many more.
As it’s a chemical composition, when Inulin is mixed with liquid it gives out a smooth liquid-like gel to relieve constipation.
Back in 2017, there was a study conducted that supplementing with Inulin was effective among adult volunteers with chronic constipation. In addition, it also improves bowel function.
